1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the Phase app (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Service Overview

Phase is a personal management tool that records menstrual cycles entered by the user and provides estimated information on expected period dates, fertile windows, and ovulation days.

3. Requirements and Data Security

The App is available on Android and iOS devices.

Local Data Storage: All data you enter is stored exclusively on your device. PuppyTigerStudio does not collect, store, or transmit user data to external servers.

Data Management Responsibility: The user is solely responsible for data loss caused by device changes, app deletion, device resets, OS errors, etc. Since the operator does not store data on any server, no technical means are available to recover lost data, and we assume no liability for such loss.

4. Medical Disclaimer (Important)

Non-Medical Device: This App is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or advice.

Limitations of Estimates: The predicted period dates and fertile window information provided by this App are statistical estimates based on past data entered by the user. Actual results may vary depending on physical condition, stress, illness, and other factors. The App does not guarantee the accuracy of its predictions.

Self-Responsibility Principle: Do not use the information provided by this App as the sole basis for contraception, pregnancy planning, or other medical decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for health-related decisions.

Disclaimer of Liability for Outcomes: PuppyTigerStudio assumes no legal liability for any consequences (including but not limited to unintended pregnancy, contraception failure, etc.) resulting from reliance on the information provided by this App.

5. Prohibited Activities

You shall not:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App to extract source code
Create derivative works or copy, modify, or redistribute the App without authorization
Use the App for illegal purposes or interfere with other users’ access

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including design, logos, code, and content, belong to PuppyTigerStudio. Unauthorized use without prior written consent may be subject to legal action.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services for service delivery and improvement, each subject to their own terms and policies:

Google AdMob: For advertisements (Google Terms of Service)
Firebase Crashlytics: For error analysis and quality improvement (Firebase Terms of Service)

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided “AS IS” without any express or implied warranties.
PuppyTigerStudio is not liable for issues arising from the user’s device environment, network conditions, or user negligence (such as failure to back up data).
The operator assumes no liability for any direct, indirect, or special damages arising from the use of this App.

9. Service Changes

PuppyTigerStudio may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice, as needed for improvement or operational purposes.

10. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time in accordance with changes in relevant laws or service operation policies. Updated terms will be posted within the App or on the relevant page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Suwon District Court, Seongnam Branch.
